Series C: St.Christina-Wolkenstein welcomes TC Rungg in the final

St. Christina-Wolkenstein and Rungg took advantage of their home advantage in the semi-finals. Both the Val Gardena against Meran and the Runggers against the deposed defending champion Bruneck won clearly with 4-0 points and even remained without losing a set. Next Sunday, St. Christina-Wolkenstein wants to become national champion for the first time, while Rungg is playing for its second Serie C title after 2010. The winner also qualifies for the Italian championship for promotion to Serie B. In the play-out, the TC municipality of Bozen saved themselves in the semi-finals with a clear 4-0 win against Brixen as well as the B team of TC St. Georgen, which surprisingly won the derby against the Pusterer A team. On Mother's Day, Brixen has home advantage in the decisive relegation game against St. Georgen A.

TC Municipality of Bozen is about to win the women's title For the women, a draw away from Merano next Sunday is enough for the TC Gemeinde Bozen to successfully defend last year's title. On the fourth match day, Veronika Sepp & Co. swept the Tennis Club Bozen off the field in the Bozen city derby with 4-0 points. Meran, without Jasmin Ladurner and Julia Thiem, surprisingly lost 1:3 to relegated Lana.
