Linda Mair also made it into the next round in the singles at the $10.000 tournament in Sharm El Sheikh. On Wednesday she beat host Yasmin Hamza 3:30, 2:6(7), 6:2(7) after 6:5 hours of play. Hamza only made it into the main draw thanks to a wild card.
