Sinner's curse on lawns continues

Jannik Sinner has a total of 106 victories on the ATP tour - and not a single one on grass. Things simply won't work out for the South Tyrolean on this surface. Darren Cahill, Sinner's new trump card in the coaching team, sitting next to Simone Vagnozzi, could only watch his protégé as the South Tyrolean's match against Tommy Paul slowly slipped away. The rally was under Paul's control, but a net roller gave Sinner his first break to make it 3-1. The end for Sinner After a long back and forth, Paul managed to break the score to 5:3 and served to win the game. The American didn't let the victory be taken away from him and he took the third set 6:3. Sinner remains at 27 wins this year and still has some homework to do before his appearance at Wimbledon. Jannik Sinner surprisingly failed in the second round of the preparatory tournament for Wimbledon in Eastbourne against the American Tommy Paul. The dry spell on grass continues for the South Tyrolean.
