“All I know is that the Olympics are not the ultimate in tennis.” Alex Schwazer Peter Fill (Ex-ski racer, 4 Olympic participations): “That certainly wasn’t easy for him. He will have thought about his future, and that's right. Sinner can achieve great things and therefore has to think big. He has always played brilliantly, except on grass, where he still lacks experience. It could also be that he is not completely physically fit, we don't know. In any case, it takes a lot of courage to make a decision like that, so it deserves respect. And there’s something else you shouldn’t ignore: the Olympics aren’t the most important thing in tennis.”

Alex Schwazer (Olympic champion): “As an outsider, it’s not my place to comment on that. Only those around you can judge that. I'm also not an expert in tennis. All I know is that the Olympics are not the ultimate in tennis. Maybe he's not completely happy with his game at the moment, but that's just a guess. All I know is that I started at the 2009 World Cup even though I was in bad shape just because I thought I couldn't miss the World Cup. That was a mistake."
