Sparkassen Trophy Rungg: Talent Bahamonde defeats favorite Fabbiano

The Sparkassen Trophy at the Rungg tennis club in Girlan has its big surprise. The 18-year-old Italo-Argentinian Francisco Bahamonde (ATP 663), who was only eligible to take part thanks to a wild card from the Italian Tennis Association, knocked top favorite Thomas Fabbiano (ATP 200) out of the competition. Bahamonde is the protégé of Tomas Tenconi, who triumphed in Rungg 2008.
