St. Christina and Merano in the Series C final

The TC St. Christina is almost unbeatable on its own pitches. In the six play-off semi-final matches against TC Rungg, the Val Gardena team only lost one match when Horst Rieder narrowly prevailed against David Kostner in the tie-break in the third set. Otherwise it was a Ladin monologue in which the home team didn't say a single sentence. The second semi-final between TC Gemeinde Bozen and TC Meran was much more competitive, with the doubles tipping the scales in favor of Meran's victory: Marc Herter/Renato Ercolani won both the point to make it 3:3 and the point to make it 4:3 against Gianluca Gatto and Ugo Laguercia. In the play-out games, TC Bruneck had the better end against TC Kaltern with 4:2. The Pusterers showed strong nerves, especially in the singles, and won three of the four matches with Adrian Gruber, Alessandro Dapunt and Lukas Crepaz. In the doubles, Adrian Gruber/Lukas Crepaz's victory against Fabian Rauch/Raffaele Cimadon was enough to wrap up the 4:2 victory. The second play-out game between TC Bozen and TC St. Georgen was interrupted due to rain. The catch-up date is May 7th.

Rungg and Meran are at the top for the women In the women's Serie C, Meran moved level with Rungg at the top of the table thanks to a 3-1 win against TC Bozen B. On May 15th there will be a big showdown between Meran and Rungg on the last match day.
