Favorites victories in Vipiteno: Graus and Berger win the 3rd category tournament

In the final, the top-seeded 29-year-old Armin Graus met Christian Fellin from Brixen, 15 years his junior, who had already reached the final in Lana last week but lost out to Benjamin Rossi. This time too, Fellin, cousin of professional player Manfred Fellin, had to admit defeat to Graus 3:6, 4:6. The 4.1 player from TC Ratschings brought Riccardo Pinotti to his knees in the semi-finals in a hard-fought match in three sets with 6:4, 4:6, 6:3, while Fellin clearly beat Fabio Dallapiazza from Ladin with 6:2, could claim 6:2.

Tamara Berger also lived up to her role as favorite among the women. The 16-year-old from Bruneck first defeated Giorgia Dalle Grave 6:1, 6:1 in the semifinals before defeating her teammate Waltraud Kirchler 6:4, 6:4 in the final. It was Berger's first victory in Vipiteno after she had been beaten by Greta Zwerger from Brixen in the final last year.

Salcher wins 4th category In the 4th category of the men's final, Harald Salcher was once again at the top. The ASV Vahrn player, who won the first tournament in Vipiteno and Brixen this year, defeated his teammate Helmuth Oberhauser 6-1, 6-0 in the final.
