Young players impress in Ortisei

In the U16 boys category, the number 2 seed, Edoardo Cestarollo from Trento, defeated top favorite Daniel Tavernini from Bolzano in two sets 6:3, 7:5. Most participants were in the U12 and U14 age groups. In the U12, the victory went to top seed Greta Gufler from Passeiertal, who was able to hold her own in the final against Sophie Skalikova 6:2, 6:3. For the boys, local hero Kilian Dallapiazza won a clear 6-0, 6-1 win against Carlo Alberto Angusti from Mantua. In the U14 women's competition, Nadine Vinatzer from Ladin brought Margherita Dapunt to her knees in three hard-fought sets 4:6, 6:2, 6:4, while in the boys' competition Alexander Grasl defeated Mario Andreotta from Cortina 7:6(1), 6:3 had the upper hand. The U13 title was won by Carmine Marono from Campania, who was able to hold his own against Samuel Greif from Kalter. Daniel Lechner from Bolzano and Vittoria Segattini from Arco won the U11.

In the U10 age category, the girls' victory went to Mariastella Failoni from Tennis Darzo, while the boys' victory went to Filippo de Bellis from Campania. In the youngest category (U9), Elen Gatto won the title against Finja Matuella.
