Rungger teams with one foot in Serie A2

After coach Manuel Gasbarri's teams were seeded in the first round and each received a bye, the men beat Modena 6-0 away in the second, decisive round today, while the women, also away, beat Circolo Canottieri Aniene had the upper hand 4-0.

In Modena, Weis and Co., as so often, put in a solid performance and shot the home team away 6-0. The Spaniard Mario Vilella Martinez, the Bolzano Alexander Weis and the two people from Völs Georg Winkler and Moritz Trocker made the preliminary decision after the individual rounds. I particularly liked our double duo Ormaechea/Meliss again today. “It’s a deserved 4-0 win, but it wasn’t easy,” said a delighted coach Manuel Gasbarri.

Both second legs will take place in Rungg in one week, on July 1st.

Rungger teams with one foot in Serie A2

The first leg of the playoffs in the Serie B national tennis championship was played on Sunday. Both the men's and women's teams at TC Rungg took a giant step towards Series A2.
