Serie B: Next victory for the Rungger teams

Coach Manuel Gasbarri's team leads the table in women's circle 1 and men's circle 1 with 12 points. The Rungg women's team welcomed Ambrosiano, who was second to last in the table, on Whit Sunday. Homegrown players Verena Meliss and Simone Kraner as well as Dalila Spiteri made the preliminary decision after the individual rounds and gave Rungg a 3-0 lead. In the doubles, the guests withdrew with a score of 0:1. The Überetscher women only played a total of four games. On the fifth matchday in a week, Rungg will be away to rivals Ferratella. With another win, Meliss & Co. could take a big step towards winning the group.

Everything is also going according to plan for the Rungg men's team. In the difficult away match in Milago, a suburb of Milan, the Überetscher also clearly brought the home team to their knees 6-0. Marco Bortolotti, Alexander Weis from Bolzano and the two Völsers Horst Rieder and Moritz Trocker secured victory after just four individual games. Weis and Manuel Bernard as well as Bortolotti and Georg Winkler made it 6-0 with their double successes.

However, TC Bozen has taken a break. The Talferstädters, who are in last place in District 4 after three rounds (one draw and two defeats), will meet the strong Villa York Sporting Club team at home next Sunday.
