TC Bozen is playing in a draw again

Today Bozen had to do without its number 1, the Tyrolean Johannes Ager, who was replaced by Andrea Capodimonte. The home team got off to a better start and immediately took a 2-0 lead. Aliosha Bona and Tobias Tappeiner clearly lost to Federico and Giorgio Malagoli in two sets. Capodimonte then equalized with a 6:0, 6:2 win against the 2.8 Marco Rossi and Thomas Holzer with a 6:3, 7:6 against the 2.4 Alessandro Dragoni. The duo Holzer/Capodimonte then clearly prevailed in the doubles against Malagoli/Maladugno with 6:1, 6:0, while Bona/Laimer lost against Dragoni/Rossi with 0:6, 1:6. The game ended in a 3-3 draw.

The championship will now take a three-week break, then Bolzano will face TC Crema at home on the penultimate matchday of the championship on May 21st.

Serie C: Three teams already in the semi-finals

In the men's Serie C, the two group favorites in District B, St. Georgen and Rungg A, have already qualified for the semi-finals. St. Christina-Wolkenstein also moves into the last four in District A, while the defending champions from Rungg started the championship with a win in the women's category.

St. Georgen and Rungg celebrated their second victory in the second game in District B. The Pusterers won away against defending champion Meran 5-1, while the Überetscher made short work of the TC Gemeinde Bozen in the Herzogspark and shot down the Talferstädter 6-0. Both teams thus secured early semi-final qualification. Merano, however, can no longer defend last year's title.

In Group A, St. Christina-Wolkenstein remained without losing any points after the second matchday. The Val Gardena team swept hosts TC Bozen 6-0 in the state capital and only lost one set in total. However, after ATC Bruneck's 4-2 home win against Rungg B, the fight for the last semi-final ticket remains exciting.

In the women's category, the defending champions from TC Rungg celebrated their Serie C championship debut. In the away duel against TC Bozen, the Überetscher women won 4-0. Last year's finalists Meran celebrated their second win in the second game in Val Gardena with a 3-1 win against St. Christina-Wolkenstein and took the lead in the table.

TC Bozen is playing in a draw again

Third equalizer in a row for TC Bozen Internorm on matchday 5 of the national Serie B championship. On Sunday, the Talferstadt team had to settle for a 3-3 draw in the basement duel in Casinalbo in the province of Modena against the club La Meridiana, which had previously had no points.
