TC Municipality of Bolzano missed a medal

The Bolzano team eliminated ASD Match Point 2000 Pescara, CT Lanciano and CT Carpi on their way to the final in the national phase. In Sanremo, captain Pietro Pisante fielded Claudio Morelli, Giorgio Paggetti, Patrick Bacher and Ferdinando Valerio in the three final encounters.

The team then kept up well with the other three finalists, but was unlucky and only lost all three matches in the decisive doubles. Patrick Bacher/Giorgio Morelli had to admit defeat to Marenzi/Bisetti from Tennis Sporting Lesa on the first match day and then to Amorotti/Ridolfi from TC Prato in the match tiebreak on the third match day. Morelli stayed in the match for a long time on the second day of the match with Giorgio Paggetti against Togliolini/Pennati from Tennis Garden Milan, but ultimately lost in two sets 5:7, 2:6.

TC Municipality of Bolzano missed a medal

The TC Municipality of Bozen missed out on a medal in the final round of the Italian Team Championship Over 45 (limited 4.3) on the clay courts of the Solaro Tennis Club in Sanremo and had to settle for 4th place. The title went to Tennis Sporting Lesa from Novara.
