Terlan was another highlight

For the men, there were high-class duels from the quarter-finals onwards. Top favorite Eccel Trappolin eliminated Hannes Meraner in two sets, co-favorite Lorenz Röggl retained the upper hand against Martin Holzner from Unterland in three sets, Hansi Pircher from Naturns shone against surprise man Michael Bonell and Marini Leonardo moved into the semi-finals without a fight against Massimiliano Manfrin.

In the semi-finals, Alex Eccel Trappolin confidently won the duel against his club colleague Marini Leonardo 6:1, 6:0, while Röggl and Pircher played a memorable match, which the Eppan player won 7:3 in the tiebreak after fending off six match points of the third set won. Röggl's two marathon matches from the day before were noticeable in the final today. Eccel Trappolin completely dominated the final, winning 6:2, 6:1 and winning the tournament in Terlan for the first time.

The matter was also very clear for the women, where 25-year-old Sarah Hellrigl from Partschins was able to assert herself in the final against Elisabeth Schleiss from Marling with 6:3, 6:2. Hellrigl already shot off top favorite Sarah Pitscheider from Mals 6:4, 6:1 in the semi-finals. Schleiss, on the other hand, knocked teammate Maria Frühauf out of the competition 6:3, 7:5.
