Trocker and Fellin are in the peloton in Cairo

The 17-year-old Trocker from TC Rungg, who was seeded number 4 in the qualification, met the 22-year-old Syrian Yacoub Makzoume in the third, decisive qualifying round today, beating him in two tiebreaks 7:6(4), 7:6(6). Trocker was unlucky because he will face the tournament's number 2 and 390th in the world, the Spaniard Mario Vilella Martinez, in the first round of the main draw on Wednesday. Manfred Fellin is also in the main field in Egypt. The 20-year-old from Brixen narrowly prevailed against Michal Skonieczny from Poland in three sets 4:6, 6:0, 7:5.
