The Tennis Club St. Georgen started the national final phase of the U16 Italian team championship, which will be held in Bolzano this weekend, with a bitter defeat. Vera Ploner and Jeannine Hopfgartner were beaten by Jessica and Tantiana Pieri from TC Lucca with 0-2 points and will face TC Flaminio Rome in the consolation round on Saturday.
