U18 ITF Salsomaggione Terme: Hofer continues, Weis is eliminated

Verena Hofer and Alexander Weis were in action in the second round of the main draw at the 32nd International U18 ITF tournament in Salsomaggiore Terme (Grade 2) on Wednesday. Weis had to admit defeat to the number 5 seeded Finn Patrik-Niklas Salminen twice in the tiebreak, while Hofer won against the qualifier Elisa Visentin 6:3, 6:2 and qualified for the quarter-finals.
