US Open: Andreas Seppi also continues in doubles

Andreas Seppi's winning streak at the US Open, the last Grand Slam tournament of the season, continues. After the two successes in the singles against the American Tommy Paul and the Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili, the 31-year-old from Kalter also won his first round match in the doubles on Thursday evening. Seppi and his compatriot Marco Cecchinato prevailed against Jonathan Erlich/Artem Sitak (ISR/NZL) in the tiebreak of the third set 6:7(3), 6:3, 7:6(4).
