Verena Hofer was eliminated in qualifying at the junior tournament in Wimbledon

In addition to Andreas Seppi and Karin Knapp, another South Tyrolean, Verena Hofer, was in action at Wimbledon last week. The 16-year-old from Val Gardena took part in the junior tournament, but had to withdraw in the second qualifying round.
