Verena Hofer wins the South Tyrolean duel against Jasmin Ladurner

As luck would have it, the two South Tyroleans Verena Hofer and Jasmin Ladurner faced each other in the first round of the ITF tournament in Rovereto (10.000 dollars in prize money). The woman from Val Gardena secured the “derby victory” with 4:6, 6:1, 6:3. Verena Meliss also made it into the main draw on Monday.
