Verena Hofer makes it into the main field in Altenkirchen

Verena Hofer returned to the ITF tour with a sense of achievement. The 16-year-old from Val Gardena made it into the main draw at the $15.000 tournament in Altenkirchen in Rhineland-Palatinate after two wins against the German Michelle Janis and the Serbian Dajana Dukic. There she will meet the Czech Martina Kubicikova, number 12 in the world, on Tuesday at 398 p.m.
