Verena Hofer narrowly missed reaching the final in Sardinia

Verena Hofer was eliminated in the semifinals of the $10.000 ITF tournament in Santa Margherita di Pula (Sardinia). After a hard fight, the Ladin lost against the Swiss Tess Sugnaux in three sets and thus missed her first place in an ITF final.
