Verena Meliss moves into the main field

The 17-year-old from Kalter cleared the second qualifying hurdle on Monday at the $10.000 ITF in Santa Margherita di Pula. Meliss defeated 19-year-old Natasha Piludu in two sets 6:3, 6:4.
