Four South Tyrolean victories at the Raiffeisen youth tournament in Welsberg

The favorites lived up to their role in five of the six categories. The boys U16 title went to Cortina. Enrico Dimai, number 1 on the seed list, clearly defeated the 4.2 player Hannes Lanz from ATC Bruneck 6:3, 6:1 in the final. Dimai and Lanz eliminated the two local heroes Gerd Wurzer and Maximilian Mair in the semifinals.

In the women's field, top favorite Iris Villgratter lived up to her role as favorite. The 3.3 player from ASC St. Georgen first swept Mara Schwingshackl from the field in the semifinals with 6:1, 6:0, before she was able to hold her own against Nina Schwingshackl with 6:0, 6:4 in the final.

In the U14 boys age group, Giovanni Bertani from Veneto and surprise player Philipp Piffrader faced off in the final. The man from Bruneck also showed a very strong performance against Bertani and won as a complete outsider in two sets with 6:4, 6:1.

Chiara Alverà from Cortina won among the girls of the same age. In the semifinals she defeated her teammate Ludovica Orlandi 6:3, 6:3, and then in the final she defeated Giorgia Dalle Grave from Val Badia 6:2, 6:3.

In the end, Kilian Dallapiazza was at the top of the U12 boys. The number 1 seed defeated Luca Grasso from Albinea 6:3, 6:1. The girls' winner was Nadine Vinatzer from Val Badia, who gave Nora Schwingshackl no chance in the final and won 6:0, 6:1.
