Wimbledon: Andreas Seppi is also eliminated in doubles

Andreas Seppi said goodbye to Wimbledon for good on Wednesday. After the bitter first-round defeat in the singles against the Argentinian Leonardo Mayer, the 30-year-old from Kalterer and Paolo Lorenzi were eliminated in the first round of the doubles today. The two “Azzurri” had to admit defeat to the third-seeded Canadian-Serbian duo Daniel Nestor/Nenad Zimomjic in three sets 1:38(6), 7:5, 3:6 after 4:6 hours of play.
