Wimbledon: Seppi has to go through qualifying, what about Sinner?

Although on a par with the other three Grand Slams, the Wimbledon tournament is considered the most prestigious and therefore important in the world. However, things are different this year: Because the organizers have excluded all Russian and Belarusian athletes and as a result the two umbrella organizations ATP and WTA have withdrawn the world ranking points from the tournament, many fear that the event will degenerate into an exhibition. The prize money and the prestige remain the same, which is why all players will probably compete despite the lack of world ranking points. This is what the entry list shows: Apart from the unwanted Russians and Belarusians, there are very few cancellations: from the top 100, only the injured Roger Federer (Switzerland) and Kei Nishikori (Japan) as well as Lloyd Harris from South Africa are missing out. After leaving the French Open due to injury, the 20-year-old himself said that it was definitely an option to miss some tournaments in order to get the physical problems under control. Whether this will actually happen remains to be seen. For now, Sinner is registered at the ATP 500 tournament in Halle (June 14th to 20th). Seppi, on the other hand, is competing in the ATP 250 tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch this week which he survived the first qualifying round on Saturday.
