WTA Cincinnati: Knapp makes it to the first qualifying round

Karin Knapp won her opening match in the qualification for the WTA tournament in Cincinnati in the US state of Ohio on the night from Saturday to Sunday. The 27-year-old Luttacher defeated Urszula Radwanska from Poland 6:3, 6:3 and will face Monica Puig from Puerto Rico in the second, decisive qualifying round on Sunday at 18 p.m.
