WTA Marrakech: Karin Knapp before entering the main draw

Karin Knapp also made it through the second qualifying round at the WTA tournament in Marrakech, Morocco (prize money of $325.000) and is about to move into the main draw. After the marathon victory at the start of the tournament against the French Severine Beltrame, the 25-year-old from Ahrntal prevailed on Sunday against the Slovakian Anna Schmiedlova after 2:47 hours of play with 6:3, 5:7, 6:4.
