WTA Miami: Knapp eliminates Siniakova and meets Makarova

Karin Knapp reached the second round of the WTA Premier in Miami ($5.381.235 in prize money) on Tuesday. The 27-year-old from Luttach im Ahrntal clearly defeated the young Czech Katerina Siniakova, number 78 in the world, 1:16, 6:2 in just 6:0 hours of play in her first round match. In the second round, the South Tyrolean will face number 9 in the WTA ranking, Ekaterina Makarova.
