WTA New Haven: Knapp meets Katarzyna Piter in qualification

There are still ten days left until the last Grand Slam tournament of the year, the US Open, but the two South Tyrolean tennis aces Karin Knapp and Andreas Seppi are already playing in the United States this week. The 27-year-old from Ahrntal has to qualify for the “Connecticut Open” (710.000 dollars in prize money) in New Haven and will play in the third match this Friday after 16 p.m. CEST against the Polish Katarzyna Piter, number 109 in the world.
