WTA Oeiras: Karin Knapp is eliminated from qualifying

Karin Knapp was eliminated from the Portugal Open in the first round of qualification. The 25-year-old from Ahrntal had to admit defeat to Shahar Peer from Israel 3:6, 5:7 at the tournament in Oeiras, which was called Estoril until last year but is always held in the same town.
