Second draw for TC Bozen in Serie B

Vicenza won its first game against La Meridiana 5-1, but lost 2-4 at home against leaders Crema last weekend. After the four individual matches it was a 2-2 draw between the hosts and the white-red. In the opening match, Alex Laimer had to admit defeat against 3:1 player Samuele Buratto with 1:6, 3:6, before Aloisha Bona was able to win his game against Alberto Orso (3.2) with 6:3, 6:3. In the top game between the two top seeded players from both teams, Johannes Ager (2.4) and Francesco Borgo (2.2), Bolzano's new signing won confidently 6:2, 6:1. Afterwards there was the second top game between ex-professional Thomas Holzer from Kaltern and Francesco Ferrari (2.3). Holzer won the first part of the game, but ultimately had to admit defeat in three sets 6:2, 4:6, 5:7. After four singles games played, the doubles decided. Both teams got a point here. The duo Ager/Holzer benefited from Orso's injury with the score at 1-0, while Bona/Laimer lost without a chance against Ferrari/Buratto with 1:6, 0:6. The game ended in a 3-3 draw.

Next Sunday Bolzano will host La Meridiana at home on matchday five of the championship.
