Werner Maier has been the OC head of the showcase event since 1999. “Our record was once 600 registered and 580 starters,” remembers the 51-year-old. There won't be that many this year. There will be no other refreshment points along the route,” said Maier. “Everyone who reaches the finish line will immediately receive a food package and an FFP2 mask, because the pasta party will not be able to take place either.
