Brennercom Sailing Week: Duel between BMW Auto Ikaro and Windsurfing Kaltern

The first race of the day was run up and down. Right at the start, the teams Durst Ventures Sailing Team, Schöne Aussicht and Audi Incar Sailing Team were called back and had to cross the starting line again. An exciting race then developed.

After half the race, Windsurfing Kaltern was in the lead, closely followed by BMW Auto Ikaro. The fight for victory went all the way to the finish line. Wolfgang Sparer & Co. crossed the finish line just under a meter ahead of BMW Auto Ikaro. Brandnamic, skippered by Michael Widmann, was the third team to cross the finish line.

The same protagonists also shaped the second race. This time the winner of the first race, BMW Auto Ikaro, was able to fight back and secured victory ahead of Windsurfing Kaltern. The Schöne Aussicht team led by skipper Reinhard Widmann came third. The Latemar – Klaro boating school had to accept a call back due to an early start. There was great joy in the only women's team OBI with skipper Deborah Sparber, who were able to leave three men's teams behind them.
