Germany's best rowers race across Lake Kaltern

They are among the absolute world class in rowing and are currently training in the south of South Tyrol. We're talking about the German women's national rowing team, which is still working on its form at Lake Kaltern until next Sunday. The warmest Alpine lake offers water sports enthusiasts optimal training conditions and a fantastic backdrop - which is another reason why Germany's selection is staying in Kaltern for the fourth time. This video shows the so-called double quad gliding over the water at top speed in the early morning.
