European Junior Cup: Jakob Weger scores big in Augsburg

At the European Junior Cup in Augsburg, the young slalom canoeists from SC Meran were able to paddle to three podium places in a field of 400 young canoeists. After fifth place on Saturday, Jakob Weger (18) celebrated his first victory at the European Junior Cup 18 for slalom canoeists in the second race in Augsburg in the U2016 kayak single sculls. Valentin Luther (15), however, took an excellent second place in both races in the U16 kayak single sculls in Augsburg.
