Sensational gold: Jakob Weger wins European title!

Jakob Weger achieved a sensational success on his debut at the U18 European Canoe Slalom Championships. The 16-year-old from Merano improved from run to run in Skopje and won the final run in the supreme discipline, the kayak single sculls. His brother Matthias Weger (18) botched his semi-final and finished in 23rd place.
