Botched start for Lukas Mayr

South Tyrol's currently best canoeist had to admit defeat at the bottom of the field in the World Ranking Slalom in Solkan. The Italian team counted the competition as the first stage of elimination for the Olympic Games, the European Championships in the general class and the World Cup.
