As with the 100 m freestyle, she also broke a meeting record in the freestyle sprint, namely that of Ranomi Kromowidjojo from 2009. The Olympic finalist in London was the first swimmer in Bolzano to stay under 23,93 seconds in 24. She won ahead of Madison Kennedy (24,31) and Erika Ferraioli (24,76). There were also two victories with two meeting records for Kira Toussaint in the 50 m and 100 m backstroke. After yesterday's 58,20, today she remained three tenths below the Bozen best time of 27,15, which Laura Letrari had held since 2009 in the sprint of 27,44 seconds. The Brixen native was slightly weakened in 28,05, third behind Elena Gemo (27,60).

Di Pietro, Codia and Scozzoli get the “double” There were also two victories - but without a record - in the 50 and 100 m dolphin for Silvia di Pietro and Piero Codia. Di Pietro had no opponents today in the 100 m dolphin and clearly won in 57,67 ahead of the German Alexandra Wenk (58,48). After yesterday's strong time in the 50m (23,39), Codia remained slightly above expectations when he won the double distance in 52,24. The Brazilian Guilherme Gudio also leaves Bolzano with two wins. After the 100 m backstroke, he also won the 50 m backstroke today in 24,73 ahead of Nicolò Bonachi and the Spaniard Aschwin Wildeboer, who came second at the same time in 24,82. Bolzano's regular Fabio Scozzoli also won twice this year, although he was not satisfied with his winning time in the 100 m breaststroke of 59,72 seconds. But the former world champion and eight-time European champion is already holding on to the rectory with eleven victories in total.
