Swimming World Cup postponed for a year due to Omicron

The World Swimming Championships planned for this May in Fukuoka, Japan, have now been officially postponed by one year by the World Swimming Association Fina. After Fukuoka Mayor Soichiro Takashima announced the postponement due to the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in January, Fina made the new date public on Tuesday.
