Six South Tyroleans at the 52nd Settecolli meeting in Rome

At the international meeting in the Italian capital, the last tickets for the World Cup in Kazan will be awarded at the end of July. After recommending herself for the Universiade in South Korea in April, Laura Letrari from Brixen now wants to try to get on the World Cup bandwagon. At the Settecolli meeting, Letrari will be competing in the 50 m backstroke and 50 m freestyle on Friday, the 100 m freestyle on Saturday and the 200 m individual medley on Sunday.

Fissneider wants to confirm the improvement in form

In addition to Letrari, Lisa Fissneider will also try to get a ticket for the World Cup in Kazan. After the Kalter native recently attracted attention with numerous top results in Slovenia, Geneva, Gallarate and at the national swimming championships in Merano, she now wants to confirm her improvement in form at the Settecolli meeting. At the Settecolli meeting she will compete in the 100m, 50m and 200m breaststroke.

Four athletes from Bolzano Nuoto at the start

The South Tyrolean squad in Rome also includes four more athletes. Arianna Letrari has an extensive program ahead of her, while Nadia Piazzolla is registered in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke. In the men's race, Stefano Ballo will be in action on Saturday and Sunday, while Zaccaria Casna will tackle the three chest distance races. All four swimmers start for Bolzano Nuoto.
