Cagnotto and Verzotto win bronze in mixed synchronized jumping

In the mixed synchronized diving on the 3 m board, which celebrated its premiere at the World Championships in Kazan, the Bolzano duo only had to admit defeat to the Chinese and the Canadians. Cagnotto/Verzotto got off to a strong start. After the first two jumps they were even in the lead, but then lost two places and finally finished the competition in third place with a total score of 315,30.

The Chinese Han Wang and Hao Yang secured victory with 339,90 points ahead of the Canadians Jennifer Abel and Francois Imbeau-Dulac (317,01). Tania Cagnotto celebrated her tenth World Cup medal today. Maicol Verzotto, on the other hand, was able to enjoy precious metal for the first time at a major international event.
