Cagnotto/Dallapè are the measure of all things - UPDATE

Cagnotto and Dallapè dominated the competition, receiving 324,30 points from the competition judges for the five jumps they performed - one of the best performances the duo has ever achieved over the years. The second-placed Ukrainians Pysmenska/Fedorova were 23,70 points behind the victorious “Azzurre”. Bronze went to the British duo Gallantree/Blagg (292,17).

The record hunt continues

For Tania Cagnotto it was the 19th European Championship medal of her career, the 12th of which was gold. At the last five European Championships, the winners of synchronized jumping were always called Cagnotto/Dallapè. For the woman from Talferstadt it was the crowning conclusion of the title fights in Rostock after gold on the 1m board and silver on the 3m board.

By the way, next weekend Tania Cagnotto can be admired in the swimming pool in Bolzano. From June 28th to 30th, a stage of the global FINA Grand Prix will be held in the South Tyrolean capital for the 19th time.

UPDATE: Verzotto in eighth place

Maicol Verzotto from Bolzano was still in action in the final from the tower on Sunday afternoon. He finished eighth, making him the second best "Azzurro" behind Andrea Chiarabini, who finished seventh. The new European champion was the Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondar.
