Diving Grand Prix: Chinese are setting the tone in the Bolzano Lido

Divers from 21 nations are taking part in the 24th Grand Prix in the Lido, but there is no way around the athletes from China. The Chinese repeated the double victory from the opening day on Saturday. In the men's 3-meter board diving, Liu Chengming (456,05 points) came out on top, ahead of Britain's Ross Haslam (426,35) and Briadam Herrere (392,35) from the USA. In the meantime, the Italians Giovanni Tocci and Lorenzo Marsaglia were on course for a medal, Tocci completely botched the last jump, Marsaglia messed up the penultimate jump.

For the women, the final of the 10-meter tower was on the program on Saturday: The Italian Noemi Batki fought for victory with the Chinese Xiaotong Zhang, but the jumper from Trieste was unable to make the last jump, so that was the way for them Rival free.
