The two Italians won the title in this discipline for the seventh time in a row. No other duo has ever achieved this.

Cagnotto and Dallapè, which already have the Quality in the morning had decided for themselves, offered two flawless jumps straight away. In the end they won with a total score of 313,08, well ahead of the two German local heroes Tina Punzel and Nora Subschinski, who pushed Bazhina/Ilinkh into third place.
