GP in Bolzano: Verzotto jumps to silver

The South Tyrolean won the silver medal in the mixed synchronized diving from the tower together with Noemi Batki. The duo scored 276.48 points and were only beaten by two Romanians: Antonia Pavel and Catalin Cozma scored 285 points and took gold. Bronze went to the Italian duo Riccardo Giovannini/Maia Biginelli (254.28 points).

For Verzotto it was the second medal at this year's edition of the FINA Grand Prix: in the synchronized diving from the tower, the man from Bolzano won the bronze medal together with his younger brother Julian.
