Cagnotto will take part in four competitions at these European Championships. Giorgio Cagnotto's daughter is taking part in the team competition for the first time this afternoon. Cagnotto and Andrea Chiarabini have a small chance of winning a medal, which the team would like to take advantage of.

In the individual competitions, Tania Cagnotto will be competing on the 1-meter board on Friday, on the 3-meter board on Saturday and on Sunday, together with Francesca Dallapé, in synchronized jumping (also on the 3-meter board). In her career, the South Tyrolean has already won gold at European Championships ten times and won precious metal a total of 16 times. The woman from Talferstadt won her first European Championship medals in Berlin in 2002 when she won silver in the tower and bronze in synchronized jumping. At the last continental title fights in Eindhoven there was silver in the 1-meter board and gold in synchronized diving.

Maicol Verzotto, a second diver from Bolzano, is in action. He is taking part in high diving at the weekend and will also compete in the synchronized diving competition. National coach Giorgio Cagnotto has also nominated Noemi Batki, Francesca Dallapè, Maria Elisabetta Marconi, Brenda Spaziani, Michele Benedetti, Andrea Chiarabini, Andreas Nader Billi, Francesco Dell'Uomo, Tommaso Rinaldi and Giovanni Tocci.
