Tania Cagnotto also hits from the 1m board: gold!

After the two titles on the 3m board (individual and synchronized), Tania Cagnotto also won the 1m board competition on Saturday. The Bolzano woman had already finished the preliminary round in first place and easily prevailed in the final with 299,50 points ahead of Maria Elisabetta Marconi (282,15). Bronze went to Elena Bertocchi (266,65).

There was also gold on Saturday for Maicol Verzotto from Bolzano. Together with Francesco Dell'Uomo, he lived up to his role as favorite in the synchronized diving from the 10 m tower and confidently secured the title with 344,55. Silver went to Mattia Placidi and Christopher Sacchin from Bolzano.

Sacchin was also involved in the individual jumping from the 3 m board. There he took eighth place as the best South Tyrolean. The title went to Michele Benedetti. However, Bolzano Nuoto's two young hopefuls, Vladimir Barbu and Julian Verzotto, were unable to qualify for the final.
