Fabian Heidegger is losing ground at the Windsurfing World Championships

Fabian Heidegger suffered a serious setback at the RS:X class windsurfing world championships off Kerteminde in Denmark. The 22-year-old from Kalter fell back to 17th place after two of four final runs and sees his chance of qualifying for the “Medal Race” on Saturday dwindling. After he impressed with tenth place in the first race, he fell to a disappointing 27th place in the second competition.
