Enduro fever is rampant on the Reschen Pass

Even though all events have to take place again this year under Corona requirements, the holding of the already traditional 3Country Enduro Race was rarely really in jeopardy. “In this respect, we are very pleased that over 450 participants are coming to the Reschenpass again this year to ride the routes of the 3Land Enduro Trails for a limited time,” emphasizes Gerald Burger, Managing Director of the Reschenpass holiday region. This year, Reschen is the start and finish location for the three-day event, which takes place on the trails on the South Tyrolean and Austrian sides. “We are more than happy that the race continues to enjoy great demand even in these times,” adds Manuel Baldauf, Managing Director of Nauders Tourismus. This means that the region can once again present itself to enduro pilots in top condition with its top trails - trails such as Schöneben or Haideralm Trail, Gerry or Elven Trail have long enjoyed cult status in the scene. “Riding these trails alone or in a team of two for a time is a special challenge,” says Thomas Schlecking from Bike Projects, whose company organizes the race together with the region and the ASV Vinschger Oberland. “Some of the individual special stages – called stages – are quite long and demand not only your technical driving skills, but also your fitness.” At the end of the day, for the more than 450 riders, it's not just about a good placement in the ranking of the 3Lländer Enduro Race, but also about points for the overall ranking of the TrailTrophy series, to which the race at the Reschen Pass is part of this year. So far, the participants have been able to collect points in the Harz (Germany) and in the Brandnertal (Austria). The finale of the series will then take place in just over three weeks from September 17th to 19.09th. in Bischofsmais in the Bavarian Forest. The first starting shot for the prologue will be fired at Reschen on Friday, August 27th at 16 p.m. On Saturday (August 28.08th) we hit the trails in the reverse order of the prologue - that means the fastest riders start last. On Sunday (August 29.08th) there will be another half day of racing on the 3Lländer Enduro Trails before the top places in the race will be honored at around 15:30 p.m.

Next weekend it's that time again: One of the highlights of the 2021 enduro season is just around the corner: the 3Lländer Enduro Race. Over 450 riders have registered for the race on the Reschen Pass, which this year is part of the TrailTrophy Enduro series.
