Alexia Runggaldier misses the top ten in the IBU Cup

The first winners of the winter come from Norway and Germany respectively and are called Vetle Christiansen and Denise Herrmann. The Scandinavian won the men's race ahead of Roman Rees and Vegard Gjermundshaug. The only Azzurro in the points was Thierry Chenal in 36th place. The two South Tyroleans Andreas Plaickner and Maikol Demetz took places 58 and 85.

In the women's category, Alexia Runggaldier from Val Gardena was the only Italian to start. After a successful race to catch up in the second part of the race, she finally took eleventh place. At the front, Herrmann left Dzinara Alimbekava and Ekaterina Glazyrina behind.
